About Us

The Sunny Coast Twirlers were founded on the Sunshine Coast by Director Brittany Evans in 2014.
Baton Twirling is a fast growing sport here in Australia that engages athletes in the art of baton twirling, dance, gymnastics and performance. It offers a wide variety of areas for growth and positive exercise and body development.

Baton Twirling promotes athletes progression of hand-eye co-ordination, rhythm, flexibility, fitness & stamina whilst learning in both an encouraging and supportive environment.

The Sunny Coast Twirlers teach to the Australia Baton Twirling Associations TAS progression program, the ABTA Standard Solo program, Acrobatics Arts and dance technique stems from a variety of dance programs. The syllabus work is implemented by fully qualified teachers and instructors all with blue cards, first aid and who participate in on going professional development.

The Sunny Coast Twirlers boast a wonderful record at both State, National & International competitions. The Sunny Coast Twirlers are active within the Sunshine Coast Community performing at local charity events and community performances.
